P7 Leavers Assembly

Sports Day Information

Sports Day 8th June 9.45am – 12 Noon . After consultation we have made some changes to our Sports Day.

There is a balance of competitive and fun events as requested by pupils.

In order to facilitate this, the morning will be split into two slots this year. From 9.45am until 10.45am, infants will be competing in potted sports whilst the upper school will be running their flat races. At 10.45 there will be a swap over after which the infants will be running their flat races and the upper school will be participating in potted sports. Heats for flat races have already taken place during PE lessons but all pupils will take part on the day.

Pupils will be in teams based on our school houses Drymen, Kirk, Roman and Thorn, with pupils gaining points for their houses towards our Sports Cup and also towards our House Competition.

Pupils should come to school dressed to take part in sports day activities but should also dress appropriately for the changeable weather.

**********

On the grounds of safety, would spectators please refrain from crossing over the outside white line. It is also very important that the area marked out for the final flat races is kept clear. Thank you
