The Moonbeams have been learning about animals in Antarctica. We learned how Penguins, Seals and Whales keep warm in freezing cold conditions. These animals have layers of blubber. The pupils tested this for themselves. They put a finger in ice water and felt that it was very cold and then they put a finger covered in ‘blubber’ in the ice water.
