S6 pupils being trained as mentors & school community team builders today during S6 Leadership Day. Good luck to all of our pupils being interviewed for Senior Prefect roles today. 40 pupils applied, 8 will be successful (Head Boy, Head Girl & 6 Deputes)

Congrats to Mrs Myles, who was presented with an award from @Stewac_PCouncil at Prize Giving & recognised for her hard work & kind manner. Lots of nominations for non-teaching staff from our pupils. Mrs Myles was selected – ‘she is always smiling’ & ‘she brightens my day’
The Annual General Meeting of Stewarton Academy Parent Forum will be held on Monday 11th June 2018 in Stewarton Academy. The meeting will start at 1930 hrs and all Parents / Carers are invited to attend. Tea and Coffee will be available in the School Canteen prior to the meeting.

A huge well done and congratulations to Bonnie Harzmeyer (S1) who received her award from Steven Brown at the Scottish Education Awards ceremony in Glasgow this week.
Bonnie was the winner of the S1-3 category as well as the overall winner of the competition out of 5200 entries from across Scotland!! Her artwork will be on display in his gallery in Ayr as well as being animated and printed in his next book. She will also have the opportunity to spend the day with him in Ayr and see her work in his gallery as well as receive items from his shop.
A fantastic achievement indeed!! Look out for Bonnie in the Daily Record.
