Today we have started to learn our Scots poem for the upcoming poetry competition. We are learning Elephant by J.K. Annand. The children all seemed to enjoy trying their poem together today. Everyone has a paper copy of the poem in their bag. This can be kept at home for them to practise. The competition will take place in our class on Monday 24th January where a winner will be chosen. Each child will have the opportunity to take part but while I would like them all to take part, no one will need to take part who does not want to.

I am looking forward to the class making my decision very difficult!
