As of tomorrow (26/10/21), the children will be coming round the classes with poppies.  We are accepting cash donations where possible via the charity collection tin only in return for a poppy.

We hope all of our children and families have a fantastic October holiday.  Our holidays begin on Friday at 3pm.  School returns on Tuesday 19th October at 9am.

A reminder that Friday 8th October is an own clothes day.  We are asking for a £1 donation to be made for school funds. This is available on ParentPay.

Earth house had an amazing House Prize today. The children enjoyed their movie morning and cooking with Stephanie this afternoon. We are looking forward to some delicious cookies tomorrow.

A reminder that tomorrow’s school lunch will be a Munchie Box. This will contain a slice of pizza, 1/2 burger in a bun, chicken nugget and chips. Dessert is Strawberry tart or popcorn!

As you know our winning House, Earth will be rewarded tomorrow with a “Movie Morning” including popcorn, diluting juice and fun size chocolate bars. The film the children will be watching will have a “U” (universal) rating.

If your child is in the winning house and you would rather they did not have any of the above, please let the school office know as soon as possible.

This week Primary 6 have taken part in lots of activities to celebrate all things maths. P6 were entered into the national Sumdog challenge for Maths Week Scotland.

We started out the week by discussing when and where we use Maths outside of the classroom. The pupils came up with great ideas of where they use maths in their everyday lives.

Then P6 started their new angles topic and enjoyed learning about, and drawing, different types of angles outdoors.

Finally, P6 had a mini-lesson on co-ordinates and played co-ordinates football as a class.

Primary 6 enjoyed taking part in all the different activities 🙂

Flu Immunisations

Pupils who have returned their NHS forms confirming permission to receive their flu immunisation,  will be immunised in school on Monday 22nd November.
