Thank you for visiting the homework page for P6.
Each child has been given a ‘Work At Home’ jotter which should be kept in their bag and brought to school EVERY day.
This jotter can be used for homework tasks or any extra practice which the children or yourself feel that they need.
The jotter also has access to their “common words” which we practice in school. Please also encourage your child to practice these at home. Spelling check ups will be completed and your child will then pick new words from the list when they can spell their current ones.
Please encourage your child to read or listen to stories read by you.
They have all chosen a Library book according to their Accelerated Reading ZPD number. Reading assessments done throughout the year means that their ZPD level can change.
Library books should be brought to school EVERY day.
Once a book has been read, the children can do a reading comprehension quiz in school or at home to check their understanding of what they have read.
