Next week we will be taking part in Children’s Mental Health Week.
This year’s theme is ‘Let’s Connect’ . Children will get the chance to take part in a variety of activities that will encourage children (and adults) to consider how they can make meaningful connections that support their mental health.
Our aim, is to always provide a safe, welcoming and nurturing environment for all children who pass through our door.
During January and February we are highlighting and learning about two articles from the UNCRC (United Nations Conventions on Rights of the Child)
Children have the right to special protection and help if they are a refugee.
If children and parents are living in separate countries, they have the right to get back together and live in the same place.
Over the next month, children will take part in different activities that make links to these articles and our school values.
This year we are delighted to have the Book Fair back in school. Pupils are getting a chance to see what is available today and are able to make purchases from Monday-Wednesday next week. There is also a small selection of stationery available.
The Book Fair will also be set up and available on Tuesday and Wednesday at Parents’ Evenings next week if you or your child wishes to buy a book or stationery.
