A huge thank you to everyone who attended our Christmas Fayre on Tuesday 5th December. With the support and generosity of you and the community we raised over £2400 for the school fund on the night. This total will increase with he work that is going on in the school. It is always a pleasure to see the school so busy and was also lovely to see so many former pupils who came along to support the event.
Thank you to Mr McFadzean and Mrs Tait for all the hard work involved in making this event such a success.
Please note our School Improvement Plan for session 2023-24 and Standards & Quality Report for session 2022-23 have been uploaded to the school information section under important documents.
We are pleased to be able to share pictures of our prize winners from Prize Giving 2023. Please click on the sway presentation below to access the photos.
Well done to our ECO Committee and other children who have been working hard in the garden this week. The place is beginning to look much more inviting and pleasant to be in.
The picnic benches also look great and we will eventually create a timetable for senior classes to enjoy using these for packed lunches. We also have a line machine to create some playground markings. Mrs Bradley is going to work on this and has some great ideas.
We would like to thank Drongan Community Association for their donation of £1000 to put towards our outdoor areas. The Community Association have been so supportive to the school over the years and this is another huge help. We will look at what else we can do for the outdoor area and will also explore other options for funding suggested by the Community Association.
A reminder that we have a good selection of used but in good condition uniform available in the main hall. You are more than welcome to visit the school during 9.00am and 3.00pm to have a look and see if there is anything suitable.
Thank you once again to everyone who has handed in used uniform.
A huge thanks to The Drongan Community Association who donated £1000 to put towards the cost of transport for our forthcoming whole school trip to Heads of Ayr Farm Park. They also donated £500 to our ECC. Margaret Clarke and Pat Jones came to the school to present the cheque. Thank you from everyone at Drongan Primary School and ECC.
