During Term 4, as part of our Health and Wellbeing curriculum for all stages, the children will be covering outcomes within the Relationships, Sexual Health and Parenthood programme.
It is important that we keep you informed of sensitive topics we are covering and make you aware of what will be taught at Early level (ECC /P1), First level (P2-P4) and Second level (P5-7)
The video below will provide you with all the information about RSHP and what will be covered at each level.
We hope you find this information useful when discussing these topics at home with your child.
If you are unsure of anything or have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact the school.
Active Schools are running P1-7 Spring Into Sport Easter activities in the Auchinleck cluster. Details are on the attached poster. Registration must be completed before attending via the QR code or link for your chosen venue:
This month our pupils will be learning about Article 3 – All adults doing what is in their best interests.
The children will be involved in activities which will give them the chance to discuss why it’s important for adults to make certain decisions about their lives.
They will discuss why certain decisions in schools are made by adults and what decisions they have a voice in and why.
Are these decisions in their best interest? Are they fair?
