Badminton Lunch Club

A huge well done to D-ior and Cole who ran a very successful badminton lunch time club for our P5 pupils over the last few weeks.

Here’s what they had to say:

Matthew – thanks to Cole and D-ior, I’ve really enjoyed you showing me how to play badminton

Alfie – I’ve gotten better at serving and I would like to say a big thank you to D-ior and Cole.

Carson – I liked playing matches against Alfie, thanks to D-ior and Cole.

Nadia – I’ve gotten better at serving.

Cole – I’ve enjoyed teaching how to serve and playing against them.

D-ior – thanks to them I’ve gotten better at speaking in front of people.

Home Circles @ November

In our Home Circles this morning we were focusing on the UNCRC.  We learned there are 54 Rights (or Articles), with Article 1 stating that ‘every child under 18 has these rights’.

Our BIG Questions were …

Why is it so important that every child, wherever they live, has the same rights?

Why would some children NOT enjoy these rights? Who would stop them? Why?

As always, our pupils have produced some amazing responses – check them out below.
