On Thursday we celebrated 25 years of the amazing Mrs Watt.

Mrs Watt has been a Classroom Assistant at Catrine Primary School since October 2001.  Pupils presented her with lovely cards, and staff shared funny stories about working with her, along with gifts of flowers and vouchers and cupcakes from the kitchen staff.

As it was her Silver Anniversary, she was decorated in silver tinsel and balloons which she had to wear ALL DAY, much to the delight of our pupils!

Thank you, Mrs Watt, for being such an important member of #TeamCatrine – here’s to another 25 years!!! 🙂

A huge thank you to Matthew in P5 who brought in a very interesting book, which is now proudly on display in our trophy cabinet.

Matthew’s mum was gifted a very old book by one of her customers, who had purchased it in a market in Glasgow.

The book has a certificate inside which read:

Donated by Hugh Ewing Esq. on 28th July 1882
