These are being handed out over the next few days.
They are ideal size to put on the front of your fridge door for easy access to the glow pages.

Flu Vaccine Reminder
Just a reminder that you still have time to return the Flu Vaccine consent form.
Immunisation will take place in school on Friday 13th November.
Catrine PS – School Streets Programme
Just a reminder that Catrine Primary School operates a School Streets restriction that closes roads around the school to non-resident traffic during drop-off and pick-up times to protect children.
Restriction Times (Monday – Friday) : Morning: 8:45 AM – 9:15 AM & Afternoon: 2:45 PM – 3:15 PM
Key Rules & Details
- Traffic Ban: Cars and vans cannot enter the streets around the school during the restricted hours.
- Exceptions: Rules do not apply to local residents, permit holders, or blue badge holders.
- Goals: The project aims to reduce traffic congestion at the school gate, lower pollution, and encourage walking or cycling.
We appreciate that parents/carers follow the School Streets programme, and in some cases you may have to bring your car to the school. If this is the case please be mindful and respect home owners that live in Fourfields and James Taylor Avenue, and DO NOT park across their driveways.

Nut Free School
Just a polite reminder that Catrine Primary School is a
NUT FREE SCHOOL.
Please be aware that no snacks/lunch food brought into the school contains NUTS.
We have children in the school that have a NUT allergy.

Rag Bag Collection Reminder
Just a reminder that our Rag Bag collection is on Monday 14th Sept.
We can start taking bags on Friday 11th September.

Christmas Panto Outing
After last year’s successful outing, we are delighted to be taking the whole school to The Galleon in Kilmarnock to the Christmas Panto ‘Beauty and the Beastie’.
The Parent Council have kindly donated £4.00 per pupil towards the cost. The remainder of the cost is £9.00 per child. This includes the panto, bus and a snack.
Payment will be set up as two payments over the next two months. Please pay £4.50 by Friday 11th September and Friday 9th October. Alternatively you can pay both payments straight away.

PE Timetable and Information
PE Timetable for session 2026/27
Please check our timetable for your child’s days for PE.
All pupils should have shorts and trainers for inside PE, and it would be great if they could bring a kit bag that can stay in their cloakroom for the term.
Please ensure all PE items are labelled.
We have a limited supply of spare PE kit available so it’s great if pupils can bring in their own kit.
A reminder that, in line with EAC’s guidelines, jewellery is not permitted during PE.
Earrings should preferably be removed on PE days before coming to school. If this is not possible, they can be taped over or pupils can bring tape/plasters to cover them. Removal or taping of earrings is the responsibility of parents/carers or the child if they are able to do this independently.
It would also be helpful if long hair is tied back on PE days.
Our pupils love their PE sessions in our large gym hall and we look forward to seeing them all participating soon.
P7 Dolphin House Trip
With only 138 days until the P7 residential trip to Dolphin House, this is just a wee reminder that payments can be made via parentpay.

There are a few pupils that have not had this completed yet.
This allows pupils to be included in photographs and to use laptops in the school.
We require the photographic and computer use online consent forms to be completed as soon as possible.
