P2 and P3 – Christmas with the Aliens
P2 and P3 performed ‘Christmas with the Aliens’
Christmas With The Aliens is a great nativity in which some alien visitors become stranded on earth with a broken spaceship. They meet a group of schoolchildren about to rehearse their Christmas play and are invited to watch it.
The aliens discover an amazing story and want the whole universe to hear it. The aliens managed to get their spaceship mended and travelled back to outer space to spread the story of Christmas.
P5/6 & P7 – Will Santa Get Shot Down?
P5/6 and P7 performed their show ‘Will Santa Get Shot Down?’
Based on a true story and set on Christmas Eve 1940, Geoff and his family are about to spend what should be the most magical night of the year… in a cold, wet air-raid shelter! It showed what life was like during WWII. The children felt it was important to acknowledge the commemorations this year when WWII started 70 years ago as well as marking the end of the war in May 2020.
P1 – It’s a Baby
P1 performed their Christmas show on Monday 16th and Tuesday 17th December. Everyone enjoyed the children acting out their parts and praised them how clear they spoke and performed.
It’s a Baby! tells the traditional nativity story from the perspective of a weary innkeeper. He is trying to get some sleep, however, finds that he is in for a sleepless night as he is constantly being interrupted by visitors looking for a place to stay. Mary, Joseph and their donkey arrive first, followed by angels, shepherds and the wisemen looking for the new baby. A fun nativity performed by Primary 1.
P3/4 and P4/5 – What Christmas Means to Me
P3/4 and P4/5 performed their Christmas show – What Christmas Means to Me on Monday, 16th and Tuesday, 17th December.
From the tinsel and glitz to all films on TV, the crackers we pull or the gifts round the tree. this show investigated what we should truly value at Christmas – family! Being together with loved ones and sharing tis special time together.
