Farewell to our Primary 7 pupils

Leswalt Primary had a celebration of achievement ceremony on the last day of the summer term.  It was an emotional afternoon as pupils were rewarded for all their hard work session and as we said goodbye and good luck to our Primary 7 pupils.

Olympic Gold for Leswalt Primary!

The boys and girls of Leswalt Primary concluded their project on the Olympic games with the arrival of a gold medal in school. Sports day

The whole of Leswalt Primary and extended family came together on the afternoon of Monday 25th June to have their annual sports day.  All the pupils displayed a real sporting attitude – and had fun!

Edinburgh Zoo

The whole of Leswalt Primary school travelled to Edinburgh Zoo on Friday 15th June 2012 to see the pandas. The pupils left school at 7.30am and returned home at 9pm – tired but happy.  On the journey home we all enjoyed a meal at Monkton Lodge.

Leswalt pupils go to see Olympic torch

It was an early start this morning as many pupils and parents headed off into Stranraer before 6am to see the Olympic torch start off on a journey round Scotland.

Diamond Jubilee teas

On Tuesday 5th June the community of Leswalt celebrated the Diamond Jubilee with Jubilee teas in the grounds of the school.  Parents, pupils, extended family and members of the community all came together.  There was a wonderful feast of sandwiches and home baking for all to enjoy. Big Pedal 2012 – WINNERS!!!!

Leswalt Primary are delighted to have won “The Big Pedal 2012”. This achievement in a National competition was done to the effort of pupils, parents, staff – and indeed the whole community – in cycling to Leswalt Primary School. Rainforests open afternoon

Leswalt Primary recently concluded a highly successful and engaging whole school topic on “The Rainforest” with an open afternoon.  All parents, friends and relatives of the school were invited in to come and see the learning that had taken place, to take part in some interactive activities and listen to the children entertain by singing some rainforest songs.
