On Tuesday 4th October the whole school took part in a technology challenge , set by Mrs Baillie. The whole school was split into 6 teams. Each team had a P1 and p7 pupil in it (and a range of pupils from different classes.) They were given the following instructions – *You must design and make a lighthouse with a flashing light on it. *The lighthouse must be between 30
Primary 5,6 and 7 went into Stranraer Library on 29th September to write 2 verses of the Bible online. Their verses have now been uploaded for the whole world to see. Have a look at www.thepeoplesbible.org to see the unique handwritten edition of the Bible, and see if you can spot the writing of any Leswalt pupils!
The whole school recently went to Wigtown Book Festival on 2 separate days to enjoy input from authors such as Debbi Gliori and Keith Charters. Have a look at our photos to see how much we enjoyed it!
