On the 12th of may the whole school went to town on 3 mini buses and 2 cars my group went to the old bridge museum ,the camera obscura and up the high street the old bridge museum was the best out of all 3 because of the Victorian dentist it was really intresting but it looked really scary . The museum was good and really interesting . The camera obscura was good we went up the highstreet to make a list of all the shops . It was a really hot day not good for walking in everyone had fun .

Last Tuesday we went to samye ling temple. we learned how to meditate and we sow people chant.we olso so cool statues.

Church visit
On Friday the 6th of may p1-3 went to a church from 930 till 11 o’clock in the morning. First we got a bus trip till we got to the church. When we got to the church we met a man called Robin who was the rector who showed us around the church. We found out in our church topic that the benches that you sit on are called pews.

Samye Ling trip
On Tuesday the 3rd may 2016 p1/7 went to samye ling. It was very cool it had los of statues. The lady Buddha is called Tara.
Samye Ling, Buddhist Temple, Eskdalemuir
On Tuesday the 3rd of May we went to The Buddhist temple in Eskdalemuir because we have been learning about that religion. Our tour guide was a man called Peter who is a Buddhist himself. He taught us how to meditate in the meditation room and after lunch we watched and listened to some chanting. The temple is huge and really colourful these are what the colours symbolise:
Blue-Sky
Red-Fire
Yellow-Earth
Green-Water
There was also black and gold and there was another symbol that meant space but we don’t know what that colour is.
