In my maths assessment I got 100% I feel Good.

 

 

Hi  it me Aliyah and Nola on the blog. We will be talking about renewable energy. Yesterday we made a small windmill. I will tell you how to make them. First get a  square and get a ruler get the ruler and put the ruler against the paper and  draw a line corner to corner and do it 4 times. Get a corner and glue glue stick the sharp bit of the paper in the middle of the paper. We tested them outside in the playground and they worked.

IDL

In IDL we are learning about  renewable energy.(It is so much fun and exciting)

Teas are some renewable energy’s

•  Hydro power

• wind power

• soler power

• Geo thermal

We made paper wind mills with paper, straws, split pins, scissors,a ruler and glue. This is two of them.

  We tested them in the play ground

we found out that at the top of the hill they blew backwards but in the middle of the hills they worked.

In P.E were doing long jump in the sand pit. Beth  We did high jump to.  Beth. It  was really fun Beth. We went  round in a  circle so we all got to do skipping and long jump and  high jump and we  threw a beam bag. When I was running round the hills I tripped over my own feet  it was funny but it was not  sore. Amy We measured how far we got with a trundel wheel . Amy Then we did some running. I came second in my team! Beth. But when I was running I fell over ! Beth

Ram  tam                                                                                                                                                     We were doing ram tam on Friday . We were using boom whackers.Beth.Boom whackers are small and big . They make noise the longer the boom whacker the lower the noise were! Beth.Then we sang a song about but seriously I can not remember what any of the words are! Amy.     Bye!

Hi its Aubray and Aria  we were learning about money.

We learning that  100 pennies in 1. pound. 10 10ps in1  pound.  5  20ps in 1 pound. On top mark we played piggy bank you get to count how much coins are in the piggy bank. by Aubray and Aria

Hi its Emily and Amber were going to tell you about IDL.

Yesterday we made wind turbines it was so fun. We watched videos about wind turbines. With Mrs Jardine we were learning  about hydro power. We made water wheels. When we where making wind turbines we went out side to test them. Then all of  the pins fell out then we tried split pins. They worked.

On Monday we watched a video on how to made a wind turbine we made them out of straws, paper and split pins, then we tested them outside. We watched a video and learned that wind turbine are 90m tall. The propellors are half a football pitch long.

On Monday we made windmills this is how we made them. First we  got a piece of paper and folded  a bit paper  until it  was square  then we drew  two diagonal lines going across the paper and then we  drew dots on the line. They were 4  cm from the middle. After we we glued the middle and glued the pieces to the middle. Lastly we went outside to test them. They spun round in the wind.   By Lola and Isla W

Today in maths  and  yesterday we did  our assessments

Yesterday we played a game on top marks it is were  you need to count all the coins and pick the right  bubble with the correct  amount  of  money.

Today we did a money  challenge we were in partners you had to count all the money that was on  the paper then write how much was there the you would  do the same on the one  across from it.

There is 100 pennies in a pound .

There is two fifty ps in a pound .

There is 5  20 ps in a pound.

There is ten   ten ps in a pound.

In P.E we have been practising long jump, skipping, high jump and sports day. My furthest jump is 3 meters 35cm. Foxx’s furthest jump is 2 meters 45cm. In computer science we have been practising emailing and purple mash. In purple mash Miss Murray sets us challenges like a game called mouse  finder. Last week when the p5 to 7 were at residential we got to play in maths. We got to play Maths board games. It was fun! In maths we are learning about money.
