Welcome to the Primary 7 blog

We have had a busy few weeks, getting to know each other and working hard on creating class rules and expectations.

We decided we would like to learn about the Titanic and have already researched some interesting facts about how the ship was built. We then used the facts to create a poster to share the information with others.  We started reading our new class novel, aka spar,Prince of Cats by Michael Morpurgo which is a fictional story about the only cat to have survived the sinking of the a titanic.

We have also been learning about perimeter and area and how to calculate them.

PE days are Monday, Thursday and Friday but PE kit should be brought daily as timetables may be subject to change. We recommend kits are taken home weekly to be washed and deodorant brought as part of the kit.

We are focussing on working to get her and being kind to each other. We are looking forward to the challenges that primary 7 is going to bring!
