We have had a very busy week!

We have been learning to convert fractions to decimal and then into percentages. 

We have also been developing our comprehension skills by focusing on summarising. We read a text and picked out the key information before re telling what we read in our own words.

We were learning about interesting ways to start and end stories, we looked at examples of first and last lines of famous books to compare and discuss what strategies they used to draw the reader in. 

We also went on a school trip to Kelvingrove in Glasgow. We learned lots and saw amazing things. We are now sharing what we learned by designing a poster to display.
