A message from the Scottish Government – Manchester incident mental health support

posted by Alita Spink, Schools and Learning Support Officer

It has been over three months since the tragic events that took place in Manchester in May this year. Our thoughts continue to be with the individuals and communities affected by this terrible incident. There may be a number of young people that were directly affected and may still be struggling to cope, know how to get the help and advice they need. The advice for anyone suffering from mental health concerns is for them to contact their GP in the first instance, or, where this is not possible, to call 111 and seek advice and a referral. Information is also available on the NHS inform website.
