WEE SING Free Singing and Musical Games
Wee Sing is a completely free project that introduces Primary 3 children to singing through musical games. Over the course of the project, we will develop pitching, rhythm and sound production skills. At the end, we will let you know where your child can continue singing.
Why Sing?
As well as being fun, singing together in a choir has many benefits, including:
- gaining a musical education
- socialising and making friends
- boosting confidence by performing
This is a Youth Music Initiative funded project from NYCoS, Scotland’s national organisation dedicated to encouraging singing for young people aged 0-25.
How Does My Child Take Part?
Wee Sing is completely free, however, spaces are limited so advanced booking is required. Visit www.nycos.org.uk/weesing and enter your postcode to find your nearest Wee Sing, click the marker to selected the Wee Sing you’d like to attend and then the ‘Book Now’ button.
Wee Sing is open to all P3 children. Talk to us if your child has additional support needs or if you require help with transport costs by either leaving a comment in the ‘special requirements’ box when booking or by calling us on 0141 287 2943.
