Vision 2030+ Report launched by Ministers

Vision 2030+, the Concluding Report of the Learning for Sustainability National Implementation Group, has been formally accepted and launched by Ministers. The Report celebrates the progress that has been made by Scottish Schools and reaffirms the importance of LfS as an entitlement for all learners. It also sets out the vision for LfS through to 2030 – the target date for realising the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

In launching the Vision 2030+ Report, Shirley-Anne Somerville MSP, Minister for Further Education, Higher Education and Science said, “It is now essential that we maintain the momentum and ensure that Learning for Sustainability is fully embedded across our approach to curriculum and our three over-arching strategic priorities for education: the National Improvement Framework, Scottish Attainment Challenge and Developing the Young Workforce. Learning for Sustainability has a crucial role in supporting and enhancing these priorities.”

Quick Transport Survey

A powerful voice for the people of rural Scotland.

Youth Transport Survey

Help us reach 16-24 year old people in Rural Scotland

We are reaching out to young Scots to find out how the cost of travel affects them in the their work, studies and personal lives.  Travel affects young people very differently in rural areas where public transport is often irregular, unreliable and expensive, compared to in urban areas where young people can often choose between different forms of public transport for the same journey.

Scottish Rural Action are asking people to take our survey to find out if these impacts are felt equally across Scotland’s rural areas, or if there are particular issues in different regions.  We will then tell Scottish Government what it needs to do to address the imbalance.

Take the survey now

It only takes a few minutes!
