Have you ever thought about training as a primary teacher? Do you live in Angus and work for the council?  Do you have a degree? The Dundee University ‘Learn to Teach’ PGDE programme would allow you to complete your post graduate qualification whilst still retaining your job with the council.  Angus Council would support you with your fees and guarantee a job in an Angus primary school.  The course is part time over 18 months starting in January 2018.  Participants would begin their induction year in an Angus primary school in August 2019.

Get in touch with Kim Walker on 01307 476360 WalkerK@angus.gov.uk to start the application process.  Provided you obtain the relevant permissions from your current line manager you will be sent out an application form.  Applications must be submitted to Kim Walker by Wednesday 25 October 2017.

An information evening is being held in the Dalhousie Building at Dundee University (Room 2G13) on Tuesday 26 September from 6-8pm for if interested candidates would like to find out more.

Beyond your Boundary: easy steps to learning in local greenspace will help you to find, access and use your local greenspace for learning.  It also offers support to help you improve your greenspace and spread and embed learning in local greenspace in your establishment. It is for educators in all schools, of any subject, working with pupils of all stages.
