Scottish traditional music group, Breabach, will perform in Brechin Community Campus on the evening of Wednesday 17th May to pupils and parents and a limited number of tickets will be available to the public. This will be an evening showcasing traditional music from Angus pupils and the multi award-winning Breabach.
Breabach will deliver workshops prior to the performance with instrumental pupils from Brechin High, Maisondieu, Andover, Edzell and music instructor Clare Wilton’s piping pupils. This will involve strings, guitars, harps, percussion and pipes but other genres will have an opportunity to participate also. This is a night not to be missed. 50 tickets available to the public; please contact KirbyL@angus.gov.uk a maximum of 2 tickets per person.
This opportunity was funded by Youth Music Initiative to give young people more opportunities to take part in enjoyable and quality music making, to develop their music making skills and to increase their awareness of music and culture across Scotland, the UK and the world.
