Child Bereavement UK – #MakeforMum

posted by Alita Spink, Schools and Learning Support Officer, Schools and Learning

Marjorie Barlow joins #MakeforMum this Mother’s Day – will you? Marjorie Barlow, mum of Child Bereavement UK’s patron Gary Barlow, is helping to raise awareness of #MakeforMum, our new initiative to celebrate and remember mums, or for mums to remember their children this Mother’s Day.   We know from the bereaved families we have supported that Mother’s Day can be a particularly difficult time. By taking part in #MakeforMum and fundraising for Child Bereavement UK, you can help us reach more families who may need support around Mother’s Day and throughout the year. Mother’s Day falls on 26 March this year, but you can hold your own #MakeforMum event whenever suits you best in the run-up to Mother’s Day. From creating a special meal, making candles or cards, to holding a fundraising cake sale for friends or colleagues, you are invited to join in, get creative and host your own #MakeforMum event. Share your pictures using the #MakeforMum hash tag or text MUMS02 £10 to 70070 to donate and make a real difference.
