CLIC Targets – 20/06/2022

CLIC Targets for the week 20/06/2022:

C – CORE numbers (Step 4): I can understand 3-digit numbers.
Remember to:
-order the numbers by their hundreds digit
-then, if they have the same hundreds digit, order by the tens digit
-then, if they have the same tens digit, order by the units digit
Put these in order from smallest to largest: 573, 931, 287, 273, 121, 547

L – Practise the facts of the 6x table up to 12 x 6. Try playing a game like Hit the Button to get faster!

I – Fact Families (Step 5): I know Smile Multiplication fact families. For example, 20 x 90 = 1800, 90 x 20 = 1800, 1800 ÷ 20 = 90, 1800 ÷ 90 = 20.
Remember to:
-copy the Smile Multiplication fact
-write the switcher
-bring the total to the front, change the symbol and write the 2 switchers

C – Multiplication (Step 11): I can solve 1 digit x 2 digit (x2,3,4,5). For example, 4 x 23 =
Remember to:
-partition the 2-digit number
-write out the 2 questions
-multiply the units
-multiply the tens using smile multiplication
-add the answers to find the total

CLIC Targets for the week 13/06/2022:

C – Squiggleworth (Step 3): I can partition a 1 decimal point number.
Remember to:
-write the number
-draw the sticks
-copy the units digit
-copy the tenths digit and put zero-point in front of it
Try these: 3.6, 7.9, 9.2, 3.7, 15.2, 90.5

L – Practise the facts of the 6x table up to 12 x 6. Try playing a game like Hit the Button to get faster!

I – Smile Multiplication (Step 3): I can write Smile Multiplication fact families. For example, 30 x 7 = 210, 7 x 30 – 210, 210 ÷ 30 = 7, 210 ÷ 7 = 30
Remember to:
-copy the Smile Multiplication fact
-write the switcher
-bring the product to the front, change the symbol, and write the two switchers

C – Subtraction (Step 29): I can subtract with 3-digit numbers. For example, 682 – 100.
Remember to:
-show the gap from 100 to the target number on a number line
-jump to 100 by taking 1 off the target number’s hundreds digit

-write the 4-digit number

-copy the tens digit and put a zero on the end
-copy the hundreds digit and put two zeroes on the end
-copy the thousands digit and put three zeroes on the end

I – Jigsaw Numbers (Step 3): I can find the missing piece to 100. For example, 54 + __ = 100
Remember to:
-make the units digits total 100
-make the tens digits total 9

C – Addition (Step 28): I can solve 3-digits + 3-digits. For example, 241 + 328 = 569
Remember to:

I – Doubling and Halving: Halving (Step 3): I know half of 300, 500, 700, 900.
Learn that half of…
-300 is 150
-500 is 250
-700 is 350
-900 is 450

C – Subtraction (Column Method Step 4): I can solve a 3 digit – 2 digit including borrowing 10. For example: 476

CLIC Targets for the week 23/05/2022:

C – Counting Multiples (Step 6): I can count in 8s.
Start at 0 and count in 8s. Once you can do that easily, try counting back in 8s or try starting at a different number (2 for example) and count on in 8s.

I – Doubling with Pim with Crossing 10 (Step 5): I can double 3-digit numbers.
Remember to:
