We had a fantastic time at our Christmas party yesterday. Many thanks to Mrs Tysom for stopping by. She was a good luck charm for two of our bingo winners and she also managed to capture this brilliant class photo.

CLIC Targets – 13/12/2021
We will not have any new CLIC Targets for the remainder of the term. If you would like to continue practising your maths at home, have a look at previous Learn Its, or play an online game such as Hit the Button. You can also use your Education City and Sumdog logins to access more activities.
CLIC Targets – 06/12/2021
CLIC Targets for the week 06/12/2021:
C – Counting Along (Step 1): I can count along when the numbers are written in. Use a number line, ruler or other object with the numbers written in order. Count along the numbers.
L – Practise the facts of the 3x table up to 12 x 3. Try playing a game like Hit the Button!
I – Coin Multiplication (Step 2): I can complete a 1, 2, 5 and 10 card.
Remember to:
-find 10 lots (sets of) first
-double 1 lot (set of) to find 2 lots
-halve 10 lots (sets of) to find 5 lots
Try to complete a coin card for these numbers: 16, 12, 34, 41 and 22
C – Subtraction (Step 24): I know the total gap across a multiple of 10. For example, 84 – 77 = 7
Remember to:
-find the gap to the multiple of 10
-find the gap from the multiple of 10
-add the gaps carefully
Try these: 62 – 47 = __, 83 – 36 = __, 91 – 87 = __, 46 – 29 = __, 32 – 17 = __
Please note that some targets were covered last session. We are reviewing these for consolidation. You can practise these targets each day.
