Rights Respecting School

The Rights Respecting School Award (RRSA) was created by Unicef.  The award is based on the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.  The RRSA encourages children to think about their ‘Rights and Responsibilities’ and to use them as a guide for living.

Scotstown was awarded its Level 1 in May 2012.

We are currently working hard to achieve our Level 2 award.

Take a look at some of our ‘Class Charters’.  We used the ‘Rights and Responsibilties’ to help us create these.
