Chinese New Year

On the 5th February, P4 and P5 spent the afternoon learning about Chinese New Year. The boys and girls heard the story of Chinese New Year and found out about how it is celebrated. They made paper plate fans, practised Chinese calligraphy, created paper chain dragons and even had a go at using chopsticks.

We now have a lovely display in the corridor of our work from the afternoon!

Happy New Year!

Last week we made our own New Year’s firework display using oil pastels. We also thought about some of our achievements from last year and set goals for the year ahead.

We are all very excited to see what 2019 has in store for Primary 4!
