Our Pupil Council:

>Works to make the school a better place.

> Makes decisions about things that happens in school.

> Works with children and adults.

> Communicates with children and adults.

>Listens to the views of all and takes suggestions forward for discussion.

> Are ambassadors for the school.

Constitution

There are two representatives from each class from P3-7 elected by ballot in August/SPetember each year.

The pupil council meets once a month on a Wednesday at 1.30pm.  Additional meetings may be held when required, these could be at a lunchtime.

During meetings issues are discussed, ideas shared and action points decided.

A note of the meeting is made and this is shared with the class when representatives return to class.

Suggestions and ideas from classes are noted by council representatives for sharing at meetings.

Everyone in the meeting has the opportunity to talk and be listened to.

The pupil council is dissolved at the end of June each year.
