As part of National Maths Week we organised a range of maths activities throughout the school to help everyone see maths positively and experience maths in exciting new ways. We set up estimation stations for all the children to participate in. This was a very successful initiative and as you can see from the photos, got the children thinking about different number problems but also having good fun. Some classes explored maths through digital learning and participated in the Sumdog online maths game competition. There were also classes who went on a maths trail around the school. We celebrated maths at our assembly where we looked at having a positive attitude to maths and how maths can help us with lots of other skills.
