On Thursday 29th September we held an Open Day for visitors to come into school in the morning and afternoon. This was an opportunity to meet staff, have a look around the school and see the children hard at work. Some grown-ups were even asked to do some tricky jobs as you can see in some of the photos. The feedback about the event was very positive and this was evident from the comments given in our visitor’s book. Here are a few comments:
“I enjoyed playing games with my daughter and seeing her work on the walls. Keep up the good work Scotstown School!”
“It’s always nice seeing the children in the classrooms so you have a better idea of what they’re like day to day.”
“Really enjoyed my visit and speaking with the polite and helpful children.”
“Lovely to see how the school works and how well the children are doing.”
“Very good. Really enjoyed looking at all the hard work carried out by the pupils.”
“Thanks for having us. It’s always good to see the classroom and what goes on. The teachers are always very welcoming.”
“Really enjoyed the visit and spending time making a pirate hat – great fun!”
