South Kintyre Rural Schools have just returned from a great residential trip to Stirling, Glasgow and Edinburgh.
The trip was organised by Lorna Macalister of Gigha Primary with Carradale, Drumlemble, Glenbarr, Rhunahaorine and Southend benefitting from an activity packed 4 days. Deep Sea World, Dynamic Earth, The Science Centre, The Transport Museum, The Museum of Scotland, Skypark at Xscape, Stirling Castle and Blair Drummond Safari Park had lots to offer the 27 pupils who travelled from their small communities across South Kintyre. New friendships were forged over the 4 days, adding to the transition experience.
