Book Week
We held our very own Book Week. This involved writing book reviews, class talks about our favourite books and dressing up as our favourite book characters. We also had parents come in to read to us. John McCallum from the Campbeltown Courier came to our school to talk about his job. We asked lots of questions and found out lots of information about being a journalist.

Kintyre Way Walk
We have been busy studying ‘Wee Mull’ the Kintyre Way Mascot, we have written stories about him and his ancestors. On Wednesday 25th March as part of this project all pupils from P1-7 walked part of the Kintyre Way joined by Sharon Baikie. We were very lucky as the weather was sunny and we got a beautiful view of Sanda Island.

Open Afternoon
On Friday 27th March we invited our parents and grandparents in to the school for an open afternoon. P5-7 showed off some gymnastic skills, including travelling, balancing, rolling, jumping and landing. P6-7 pupils updated visitors on our progress with our Eco project. They were invited outside to see changes that we have made in our playground. We then watched 4 litter adverts made by pupils in P1-7. We made these to try and stop littering in our school. We all enjoyed a healthy smoothie and a slice of Fairtrade chocolate cake.
