- SMART Notebook 11 – SMART Notebook 11 is now available for free download for teachers with SMART Boards, SMEAR Podiums or SMART Light Raise interactive projectors.
- SMART Notebook licensing – anyone using SMART Notebook on a non-SMART interactive product (including interactive projectors) need to purchase a SMART Notebook license. Failure to do so will mean that you are using the software illegally. - BrainPOP UK – BrainPOP UK subscribers can now access every movie and POPQuiz on iPhone, iPad or iPod touch devices
- Apple OS X Mountain Lion – if you purchased a Mac from Apple or an Apple Authorised Reseller on or after 11 June 2012 that did not include Mountain Lion, the OS X Mountain Lion Up-to-Date upgrade is available at no additional charge from the Mac App Store.

The game develops childrens speed and accuracy of letter recognition by taking them on a fantasical adventure where they meet island kings and collect letters to win prizes. It also explores blending and segmenting and introduces “tricky” words in a fun, interactive setting. It is aimed at beginning readers, both those who are on track and those who need more support.
