Kilcreggan Primary School had a very special visitor today. Mr Bill McPate brought the Olympic Torch to school. Mr McPate carried the torch through Tarbet (Loch Lomond) and he came to share his experience with us on this special day and to continue the theme we are also holding our Sports Day today.

Wow, that would have been fantastic, to actually see a real olympic torch. What a great experience!
I would like to thank all the pupils and staff for inviting me to the World Sports Day.
I had a great time and was made really welcome by everyone.
I would also like to thank the pupils for the wonderful letters they sent me.
Hope everyone enjoyed seint the torch and getting their pictures taken with it.
