Primary 6 pupils in Rhu took a journey back in time when they enjoyed a day of Victorian school activities.

The youngsters, who had been learning about the Victorian era, joined in the fun by dressing up in traditional costume for the day.


During their historical experience they found it what it was like to write with an ink pen, recite their tables and they also had a light-hearted flavour of the strict punishments experienced by Victorian schoolchildren.

They also enjoyed some outdoor fun with traditional playground games, such as skipping and hopscotch.
