Dunoon Primary School PTA held a magnificent Christmas Fayre on Thursday 28th November 2013. The hall was packed with parents, pupils and shoppers as the crowd awaited the choir coming on to do a selection of Christmas songs. Santa was busy in his grotto and the teachers and staff were busy in the tearoom serving up a selection of home baked goodies.
There were lots of different stalls to choose from and they were very busy .One stall was selling the new Dunoon Primary Tea Towel! The candyfloss machine unfortunately set off the fire alarm and everyone was escorted out to the playground. The choir performed some Christmas songs to cheer the audience on the cold but pleasant night. Our terrific fire brigade checked everything really quickly and we were all allowed back into the hall. The choir performed their planned medley of songs superbly and left the hall to a loud applause and lots of smiling faces. There was a raffle for a luxury hamper and a chocolate tombola stall. Well done to our PTA as the total raised to date is well over £1000.
Well done everyone, a superb amount raised. You can always rely on DPS Choir to come up trumps!
