In craft club this week we made elf cards with our handprints. We had so much fun painting with our hands, we will bring them home as soon as they dry.

We also made Christmas Angels. This took a lot of concentration but everyone who wanted to make one tried their best and showed good perseverance. They will all look beautiful once they dry.

We also had lots of opportunities to play! We had playdough, building blocks, construction toys, colouring in and much more! The Christmas music was playing and some of us even has a little dance.

This week in primary 2 we have stared to decorate the classroom and turned ourselves into elves……their has also been a visitor from an elf.

In maths we have been learning about 2D shapes and patterns. We have really enjoyed making pictures and wallpaper with the shapes and made patterns with paper chains.

We had another fun week at Christmas Craft club.

We made concertina Christmas trees. Concentrating hard we folded them and then decorated them with sequence.

Lots of us made paperchain snowmen, linking the paper together to build our snowmen.

Lego, playdough and colouring in Christmas themed pictures was also lots of fun! We are looking forward to next weeks club!

Primary 2 had great fun at our family campfire today. We worked very hard last week to write and illustrate our own books which we enjoyed sharing with our families today. We have also been reading the books out of our Read Write Count bags and are looking forward to completing the activities in the bags at home.  At our campfire we made s’mores and even made some for our families too. We showed how we can be safe around a fire and how to use the trim trail.

We hope our families enjoyed coming to our campfire and enjoyed our stories.
