Dear readers,
Welcome to our Primary 3A blog!
This week, as usual, we heve had lots of things going on in our class and in our school but we will give you an idea of the main things we have learned about.😊
We have worked really hard on our weekly spelling words throughout the week and as we didn’t have the opportunity to get our weekly spelling assessment done on Friday, because we had to let our Primary 2 friends borrow our classroom, we will exceptionally do it on Monday.
We also worked a lot on our Word Boost words, Reading and Writing. Our Writing session was on The Snowman and I would like to congratulate all the ones who have worked so hard on that!👍😃👏 We will have new Star Writers to be announced on Monday!🥇
For Maths, we have continued working on mental subtraction, word problems and have started using the vertical layout to solve subtraction.
We have also had our final Reconciliation preparation lesson and have spent some time trying to understand the meaning of the Our Father, Hail Mary and Act of Sorrow. They can be really tricky to understand because they have words that are very old and we don’t use any more but after being explained, they make a lot of sense.
We have almost finished our Art work related to St. Andrew and we will hopefuly post a picture of it soon.
On Friday, to allow our younger friends to have their Nativity recorded, we got to use the Hall as our classroom for the whole day! We were very excited about that, of course!
These are just some of the highlights of our busy week and we hope you have enjoyed reading about them!
Hope you are having a wonderful weekend!😃🏞
