P6 Writing

Today, P6 have been using ambitious Vocabulary, Connectives, Openers and Punctuation (VCOP) to up-level boring sentences. Here are some examples:

Miai and Jed: As the sun woke up, the blue-eyed, little boy slowly shouted however nobody heard him.

Jessica and Ula: Suddenly, my far uncle Steve sneezed very loudly like a tornado with snot spiraling round!

Freya and Logan: The long nosed, evil witch chuckled and said, “Go wash the oven.”

Ewen and Jasmin: The lazy, skinny boy screamed, “Bravo!” although the team lost.

Ella and Edward: The old, tall boy shouted at his mum, “Can I have a sweet?” even though they had none left.

Mya and Katy: As it became dark, silently the baby bat ate lots of berries before dinner.

Hallie and Jay: Eventually the fluffy, white puppies were yelping for their mum, “Yelp, yelp, yelp!!”

Aiden: Out of the blue an evil witch laughed like a dying horse.

Katie and Iona: The small, skinny, slimy snake slithered slowly along.

Georgie and Matthew: The bright sun shone its light as the curtains magically opened.

Oskar and Lauren: Nastily the teacher screamed at the children.

Daniel and Katie: For no reason, the scary, green witch laughed with terror.

Euan and Lewis: Dreadfully, an enormous boy shouted at his mother because he couldn’t get it his way.
