Eco week in P5

This week our Eco challenge was to find playground games which can be put onto the ground of the playground. The one we picked for the younger children was a colourful caterpillar with the numbers up to twenty on it. We liked lots of designs for the older children and could not decide which one to pick. Some liked the bubble target and others liked the circle target. What we decided to do was to draw our favourite designs and give them to Molly to take to the next Pupil Council meeting. That way the whole school can be involved in what design should be picked. We were also involved in a litter pick and very much enjoyed helping to plant the orchard on Friday.

By the way……………… In case you have forgotten P5 are going to camp next week!

Our Weekly P5 Blog

This week P5 enjoyed golf with Mr Bett and we will look forward to another two sessions with him. Perhaps we have another Tiger Woods or Rory McIlroy amongst us! In PE we have enjoyed badminton with Mrs Pender and sadly it was our last week this week. We also learnt some new playground games so we can show all of the other classes in the playground.

Primary 5 Assembly

Just a little reminder that the P5 assembly is next Thursday 28th of February. We do hope you can all make it! This week we have been learning new games for the playground: Red Rover, Mr Octopus and Bounce Tig.We are teaching the children from the other classes these games at playtime and lunchtimes. Thanks P5

Primary 5 – Playground Games

This week we were looking at every child’s right to play. We played two games, ‘What’s the time Mr Wolf?’ and Chocolate Bar. On Friday at break time we went to the other classes and showed them how to play these games. It was lots of fun and we are going to learn more games and teach other classes how to play them.
