P5 have been busy practising for the Easter Service which is on Tuesday 26th March at 10am. This is the first time our brass instrument pupils have performed for the school and for parents. They gave P5 a performance on Tuesday morning with Miss Foster and they were very good. We do hope you can come along to the Easter Service to hear them!
This week it was parents night and the children reported back that their parents were pleased with all their hard work. Well done P5 and keep this up!
Scots songs
Hello P.1, 2 and3. We are having fun learning our Scots songs. Remember to tell your grandparents about the Scots afternoon.
Primary 2
We have been learning about the senses this term. What can you see, hear, touch, taste or smell near Christmas time that is different from other times of the year?
For our carol service next Friday we have also been learning the Christmas Alphabet song. Try it at home with the actions to make sure it looks and sounds super on Friday!
P7 Christmas song
Our Christmas song is ‘I wish it could be Christmas every day’. Look it up on Youtube and sing along!
Remember to bring some festive accessories to wear at the performance.
Quick Choir on Tour
Here are the Quick Choirs who were singing this week at St John’s hospital and Dobbies Garden Centre, Livingston. We had a great time and we hope to hear soon how much was raised for the Friends of St John’s charity. Well done to all our singers, you were a credit to the school.
Thank you to Horsburgh Buses for the transport and to Santa for joining in at Dobbies!
