Primary 7 News

This week in Maths most of us really enjoyed learning about coordinates as it was quite a challenge! You could start to predict what the next coordinate might be because it started looking like a picture.

A good tip to remember the order for coordinates is:  ‘Along the coridoor and up the stairs.  Numbers on the line and not the squares’.

Lots of us enjoyed visiting Broxburn Academy last night especially the Home Economics taster session.  Some of last years P7s shared some of their recipes.

In the guidance department some S1s talked about settling into high school and guidance and support we could get.  They said the homework diary really helps.

In Writing we continued a story called ‘The Cave of Dur’ .  It was really good as we could end it in any way.  We trying to use a range of VCOP particulary openers ending in ed, ly and ing.

In P.E we enjoyed basketball with Grant as some activities were challenging but fun.  We were shooting and practising jump stops.

  5. Hi Primary 7,

I really like your rhyme to help you with your Maths work – I might have to ‘borrow’ it for when P6 start to learn about co-ordinates. It was great to see so many of you last night at Broxburn Academy, I’m glad you had a good time.

    Miss Anderson
