In primary 6, we worked together to build our class charter. The class voted on a “pipe” theme.
We explored the different rights children have based on the UNCRC, and decided to focus on article 28 (I have the right to an education), article 31 (I have the right to play and relax) and article 24 (I have the right to make sure myself and others act respectfully). We then came up with a class agreement on how the children, as rights holders can keep these rights and how the adults, the duty bearer, can help maintain these rights.
