Primary 3

This week, Primary 3 started their new topic, Farming. We had received an email from the Farm Association, telling us about their schools programme and that they were keen to teach young people about farming.

We brainstormed what we knew about farms and farming first of all. Then we learned about the main farming types that take place across Scotland: cattle & sheep, dairy, poultry, cereal and crop. We then used a map and key to highlight where these types of farming take place in Scotland. We found that cattle & sheep farming is the most popular type. #successfullearners
