This week Primary 1 and 1/2 went on a walk to the Post Office. We posted a letter to Postman Pat and learned about what happens to a letter at the Post Office. We bought a stamp for our letter and saw the scales that are used to weigh letters and parcels. We also saw big sacks at the back of the Post office where letters go so that they can be taken to the sorting office later.
In Art this week, we have been learning how to create observational drawings. We had to look carefully at the shape and lines of pieces of fruit and vegetables to draw them in detail. We can’t wait to practise our drawing skills again next week!
