This week we really enjoyed learning all about electricity. We made posters to show how to stay safe when we are using it.

In Social Studies, we have been learning all about how to care for animals and the local environment.  We watched a video clip about hedgehogs and used the information we heard to write facts about them. We know that hedgehogs hunt for food when it’s dark and that they are good climbers.  They really like slugs and worms. In the winter, when there is less food around, they need to hibernate.

After learning about the jobs that vets do, we set up an animal hospital in our roleplay area. Here are some of the things we said about playing there:

Ava F: ‘It’s the best thing I’ve played with!’

Calum: ‘I really, really, really love it!’

Ellie C : ‘I like taking x-rays.’

Aaron: ‘I like putting the animals in their beds for a sleep.’

Ava B: ‘I like giving a dog medicine.’
