Primary 3/2

To celebrate world book day Primary 3/2 made bookmarks out of old books.

We also tuned into Authors Live with Sarah Bowie and she showed us how to draw some characters from her book Nina Peanut is amazing.

Primary 3

Primary 3 were set the task to recycle used books for World Book Day! They made bookmarks out of recycled books. Primary 3 created their own bookmarks by carefully cutting an old page into the shape they wanted. They could customise their stick in any way they desired to make it unique. They made such a fantastic job!

Primary 3 are excited to use them the next time they read!

Primary 2/1

Many thanks to all of the parents/carers who joined us on Wednesday for our class assembly – I really appreciate you taking the time to come!

Girls Football Festival Winners!

Our Primary 6 girls attended a girls only football festival this afternoon at Deans Community High School.

There were 6 teams taking part in the festival from across West Lothian. We played 5 games in total and ended up joint winners with Bankton Primary School.

The girls were a credit to the school and themselves! Thank you to everyone at Deans Community High School for organising the event.

Well Done Pumphy!!!

Sport and Physical Activity at PUSCPS

As part of my PEPAS (Physical Education, Physical Activity and Sport) role within the school, I am looking to gather more information about your understanding of sport and physical activity within the local community.

Thank you to those who have already completed the survey at our most recent curriculum evening.

The survey will take less than 5 minutes to complete and will help with providing more physical activity and sport activity opportunities for our young people.

Thank you for your support,

Miss Walkingshaw

Outdoor Learning Amnesty

Hello everyone,

Just a small request from me! I am looking to create a set of resources which can be used across the school for outdoor learning activities. Attached below is a list of the types of things I am hoping to collect – if you happen to have any of these at home and wouldn’t mind donating them then that would be greatly appreciated. They can be handed in to me or left at the school office, where I will pick them up.

Many thanks in advance!
