Jump Rope for Heart

This Friday is our Jump Rope for Heart event – a sponsored skip in aid of the British Heart Foundation.

This charity work to save lives and make life better for people with heart disease. The British Heart Foundation also work with schools through their Heartstart programme to train children in emergency first aid.

We are now an affiliated Ā Heartstart school and Primary 2, 4, and 6 have been learning these very important skills with Mrs Hull using resources sent to us by the BHF. Now we want to give something back and help them to continue their work with other schools.

Sponsor forms will be coming home on Wednesday!! On Friday morning each class will take part in skipping activities for 45 minutes using long and short ropes with Primary 6 on hand to help with the counting.

Which class will manage the most skips without stopping? Who will show skipping style on the long ropes? Can the teachers keep up?
